The Pennsylvania Department of Education has funded 107 21st CCLC programs throughout Pennsylvania. The 21st CCLC grants are awarded for a three-year period. The award amount is dependent upon the range and extent of services described in the application proposal, the number of participants to be served and the special needs demonstrated by the targeted student population.
To the extent practicable, the Pennsylvania Department of Education shall distribute funds equitably among geographic areas within the state, including urban, suburban and rural communities
