21st CCLC Cohort 4 Pre-Proposal Information Session

The Pennsylvania Department of Education, in partnership with the Center for Schools and Communities, is conducting a pre-proposal workshop announcing the availability of federal grant funding for fiscal years 2007-2010 for 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) and the release of Cohort 4, Request for Applications (RFA). The workshop will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2007 at the Radisson Penn Harris Hotel and Convention Center, 1150 Camp Hill Bypass, Camp Hill, PA 17011. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. and the workshop will begin promptly at 9:30 a.m. and will conclude at 12:15 p.m. No meals will be provided.
The pre-proposal workshop will provide attendees information about the goals and priorities of the 21st CCLC Initiative, application procedures, evaluation criteria and technical assistance and resource information about high quality programming and other pertinent information.
Space is limited, persons planning to attend must pre-register by Friday, May 25, 2007.
Responses to questions asked at the pre-proposal workshop will be posted on the Department’s website at www.pde.state.pa.us/21stcclc or on the 21st CCLC Statewide Technical Assistance and Training Center’s website at www.21stcclc.org.

The Pennsylvania Department of Education, in partnership with the Center for Schools and Communities, is offering a three-hour, live, online information session announcing the availability of federal grant funding for fiscal years 2007-2010 for 21st Century Community Learning Center (21st CCLC) and the release of Cohort 4, Request for Applications (RFA) on Tuesday, June 5, 2007 from 10:30 a.m. until 1:30 PM (EST).
This presentation will provide participants information about the goals and priorities of the 21st CCLC Initiative, application procedures, evaluation criteria and technical assistance and resource information about high quality programming and other pertinent information.
Persons planning to attend this live, online session must pre-register by Friday, June 1, 2007.

You are invited to submit questions to the Pennsylvania Department of Education prior to the June 5, 2007 online information session.
All questions will be reviewed by 21st Century Community Learning Center host staff and the Department prior to the event. Due to the volume of questions anticipated, we cannot guarantee that all questions submitted will be answered, or answered in the order of submission. The Department and hosts may decline to answer any questions based on time limitations and content. Concise questions are strongly encouraged. Please be sure to include your name and affiliation when posting your question.
