Pre-Conference Institutes
On Wednesday, March 7, 2007, six intensive, one-day pre-conference institutes will be offered by leading experts in the field.
The all-day institutes will begin at 10:00 a.m. and end at 4:00 p.m. Registration check-in for the pre-conference institutes begins at 8:30 a.m.
Pre-registration for the institutes is required. Please indicate your first and second choices on the conference registration form. There is no fee to attend the pre-conference workshops. Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided.

The 2007 Promising Practices-Proven Strategies Conference
The 2007 Promising Practices-Proven Strategies Conference will begin on Thursday, March 8, 2007 with registration check-in from 8:00 AM until 9:00 AM. A continental breakfast and opening session will begin at 9:00 AM followed by concurrent workshops, luncheon with keynote speaker and two afternoon workshop sessions until 5:00 pm. Friday morning will begin with a general session at 8:00 AM followed by two morning workshop sessions and concluding with a luncheon and closing remarks from 1:00 - 2:00 PM.

There is no fee to attend this conference or the pre-conference institutes. Pre-registration is required for all events. Participants are responsible for their lodging, travel and any meals not included in the conference. To register, please click here.

Continental breakfast, breaks and lunch will be provided on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

A block of rooms has been reserved at the Hilton Harrisburg until February 1, 2007. The room rate is $114 per night, singe or double occupancy. Please make your reservations as soon as possible due to limited accommodations. Overnight lodging availability for the evening if March 6th is extremely limited at the Hilton Harrisburg. Lodging for the evenings of March 7th and March 8th remains plentiful at this time.

Act 48 Credits:
The Center for Schools and Communities, as a division of the Central Susquehanna Intermediate Unit, is now offering Act 48 for select workshop attendance. Participants must attend workshops from beginning to end to receive credit. A facilitator will distribute the Record of Attendance form at the beginning of the workshop and collect the required information upon completion of the workshop.
